1st gen sv650s

Hey guys, I just picked up this 2001 sv650s for $700 as a dedicated track bike, it’s pretty rough but it definitely has potential, I was wondering however, I noticed the preload is adjusted to the stiffest setting yet when I’m sitting on the bike I can easily flat foot it and bend my legs, I’m only 5’9”-5’10” so is this normal or could my shock be blow or my bike lowered. I have not been on an sv before so i have no idea what it’s supposed to feel like

Suspension and ride high adjustment for track

Hey guys, I got this 2005 zx6r 636 a bit ago and I don’t know what was done to it suspension wise it feels very low in the rear as I can flat foot the bike and stand up off the seat and I’m only 5’9”. From what I can tell the preload is set the the shortest position but so I need to raise it back up, but the dog bones and linkages are oem, is this bike supposed to sit low like that or could there be another issue, also when I’m going to adjust my fork rebound and compression my adjuster screws don’t click, what’s weird is neither of them on either fork or the compression screw on the rear shock click, the only one that does is the rebound on the shock, is it supposed to be like that? Also in the service manual it says the rebound standard is 1 3/4 and comp standard is 3/4 turns, however the rebound only turns out 1 1/2 and comp tunrs 4 1/2, I can’t tell if I’m being dumb or I have an issue, my reason for wanting to adjust is I can feel the rear lifting whenever I trail break into a turn, if anyone has any advice it is greatly appreciated
