Churches have really brainwashed our elders and it's about time we address it
Doing my national service after Uni. I have been posted at a certain senior high school somewhere in Western region of Ghana. One of my students told me she has been sexually assaulted by their pastor multiple times and it's been haunting her. She even said she wanted to commit suicide at some point but I was able to talk her out of it.
What shocked me was, she's informed her parents but they confronted her instead of the pastor and even accused her of trying to initiate the downfall of the pastor.
I think this Christianity has done a lot of harm than good to us. Elders think these pastors are some supernatural beings sent from the heavens and are not to be confronted.
Have you ever had such encounter before. I just want to get some honest thoughts.
