[other] Good lore/timeline/theory video recommendations that aren’t AI?
Seriously, trying to find a good lore video going over each game is so frustrating because it’s all AI. Idk where to look, which YouTubers don’t use AI. I’ve been having this issue with Final Fantasy and Zelda.
“Final fantasy is not just 16 games its-“
“Final fantasy is x, x, and x.”
For TloZ it’s almost worse because each channel with a popular video is something like “Zelda Explains” “Zelda Sleep” “VideogamesLoreExplained.” Like OBVIOUS AI youtube channels. It’s all slop.
I just want a human read, human written video.
MFA Creative Writing Programs for game design/writing?
Hi y’all, looking for advice. I want to write stories for video games. I’m not a coder, I’m not a math person. My focus is on writing, advertising, and directing/design etc. I got my bachelors in creative writing with certificates in “Workplace Communication” and “Creativity and Innovation management.” Do y’all know of any good programs I should look into?
My goal with MFA is to get into a funded program where I can become a better screenwriter and network for three years.
At the moment I’m eyeing Western Colorado University because my dream state to live in is Colorado and WCU has a MFA in screenwriting but I’m open to going to pretty much any state as long as the program is right. I figure screenwriting for film/tv is good experience and those skills can transition into writing for video games.
So yeah, any recs?
