Theory: What is The Spectre?
During the Masquerade event, we actually got a good amount of lore on the nature of the Spectre through Nosferatu. But what I want to focus on is the statues in Nosferatu's basement.
There were four Statues: in no particular order, Might, Fright, Blight, and Sight. Might and Fright are somewhat unimportant, being mostly thematic, but Blight and Sight are interesting. The Statue of Blight, as you might see by the second image, is a Korblox. This might tie into Nosferatu, given that Vampires are a form of undead in common myth (if this is true in Forsaken is unknown) but Blight is more of a sidenote in this theory compared to The Statue of Sight, seen in the third image.
The Statue of Sight is an Overseer. Unlike with the Korblox, the Overseers have nothing to do with the undead or vampires, and as such, should hold little to no relevance to Nosferatu, yet a statue of one is in his lair. But there's more. There are several important Roblox factions, including The Knights of Redcliff, The Knights of the Splintered Skies, and The Korblox empire, but apart from the Korblox's Statue of Blight, only one other faction has any real appearance. The Overseers. Not just that, but the Overseers have two skins in addition to the Statue of Sight, as shown in the fourth and fifth images. No other faction has any skins at all, even Korblox.
Now this is interesting, and lots of theories can be drawn from all this alone. But one last thing.
When interacting with the statues, some dialogue can be read. As far as the Statues of Might, Fright, and Blight as concerned, there isn't much insofar as importance for this theory. But for The Statue of Sight:
>"No one can hide from the All Seeing Eye,
>Nothing escapes their onslaught, their grip and their pry.
>The souls of their enemies will be pierced by their endless sight,
>And millions have perished from their unstoppable might.
>The Overseer of the abyss sits, watches and stares,
>Patiently waiting for everyone's time of despair."
'Nothing escapes their grip', 'Overseer of the abyss', 'Everyone's time of despair'...
That sounds like the Spectre.
