Vietnamese Gumayusi's fans harrassing Vietnamese caster Hoang Luan (Pelu) for joking about Teddy deserving the ASIAD Spot
In one of the recent cast (BRO vs DK), Hoang Luan (Pelu), basically the no.1 caster in Vietnamese LoL scene since very early day made a dry joke about how in the current form, Teddy "about to have to use a real gun, and he deserves to be considered for ASIAD spot"
This was met with a lot of outrage from Gumayusi's fans in Vietnam as they take that as an attacks against Gumayusi's qualifications, and they have since harrassed him on social media, with Pelu having to make an apologize video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4xlvJnTjOtk
Many people speculated that Pelu had to apologize because HLE's upcoming fanfest in Vietnam will most likely hire him as he's very prominent (just like the T1's VP Bank event) and is basically the face of Vietnamese LoL scene.
Pelu even made a comment on Thread the other day about how these fans stayed quiet when he didn't criticize Gumayusi's harshly for games where he went 0-4 or 0-7, but only said that his form has not been very consistent, but they dogpile him for a random comment in a completely unrelated match.
