Hii people,

I'm a student and I will come for a 5 days academic conference in July end.

The venue is Fortezza da Basso fort. I've never travelled outside my native country. This will be my 1st travel abroad.

I will be thankful if localites can suggest me on how to explore the city and around in an economic way.

About food options , places to visit, even suggestions on nearby safe accomodations (for women) will be appreciated.

It is hell disappointing experience in Tamil Nadu.

Delivery partners, Cab drivers, Auto drivers, these people are the biggest scams in Tamil Nadu

They don't deliver things and mark them delivered (bunch of liars I've not even seen such liars in north India). And these cab drivers Auto drivers are such a scams they are legit cartels, asking 500 extra 200 extra than shown fair. Even for 500 m distance they charge 100 rs.

And then these people claim to be paavam and civilised and literate. Like what the actual hell.

I have the worst experiences here in Tamil Nadu. Honesty is 0. Everyone just tries to scam
