Hi everyone, I want to make a complete collection of hear and dare reduction of points for a variety of courses and compile them into one single excel spreadsheet. I'm posting this across many different subreddits and collecting averages and lowest accepted etc... I would greatly appreciate it if you could comment on your own experiences with HEAR/DARE , and your reduction of points. Whether it be a course like medicine or radiation therapy or education etc... literally any course. Any and all information is appreciated. I wanna be able to post the excel sheet for everyone and be able to give a complete educated guess on this year's reduction and even years in the future as I've found it difficult myself to find this information. Is anyone else kinda confused on the HEAR reduction page for ucd. I mean it'd be great if it actually was 658 for the lowest offer but I find it very hard to believe and point reduction of that degree is possible? Maybe I'm just being stupid but anyone else kinda questioning it?

I just finished my hpat and I think I'm total I'll have 730 points, I qualify for Hear but I'm non priority. Do you think I can get in? Also If you know someone in medicine who was in a similar scenario and got in please lmk. Thanks

Hi I just got my hpat back and am 9points below Trinity medicine I was wondering if HEAR will be enough to bring me up? Does anyone know anyone or themselves have gotten in to medicine by HEAR reduced points. Thanks 🙏🙏

I got about 730 points in the leaving cert but Trinity is at 739 and rcsi is at 732. I have HEAR but not priority do you think I'll get in?

I got my results and got 80th percentile or 171 points, and I think I got about 580in the lc. I have HEAR so do you think that'll get me up to rcsi?

Hows everyone feeling about it? Also is there many from your school doing it? Im literally the only one.

Does anyone know how much HEAR reduces points by on average. Like could it be upwards of 10-50 points? or is that too hopeful. I wanna do medicine so im wondering how much on average that gets reduced by HEAR.

Does anyone know how much HEAR reduces points necessary for CAO? I've heard it can be up to like 10 points depending on the year but idk if thats true.

Since the whole system is changing where the hpat is worth significantly less and LC is worth 625. If you dont get 625 this year and want to resit the HPAT next year is it possible? Like if no 625 points this year you cant resit hpat next year since its worth way less?
