Felt consistent movement for past 3 weeks and it suddenly stopped… trying not to panic
Currently 19+1 with baby #3 (three 10wk miscarriages inbetween my first and second child) and have been feeling taps, swishes, light kicks, and strong kicks since 15+6. I had become so dependent on the movement to let me know everything is ok.
Last night, I barely felt any movement all afternoon and night. I was pretty active being outside with my toddlers, but usually once I eat and sit down I’ll feel something. Ate some ice cream and relaxed and still, nothing. I had about 4 movements in row around 10pm, and then back to silence.
In the mornings, usually once I wake up, if I just lay in bed I can feel something taps and kicks. This morning both my kids slept in so I laid there for a while and nothing. I rolled over to my back and put my hands on my belly and I’m pretty sure I felt some movement with my hands, but nothing from the inside.
I have a posterior placenta this pregnancy (thank goodness, PAL anxiety is debilitating) so just trying to tell myself baby flipped around and is head down and all of his/her limbs are facing my back causing the lack of movement that I can feel. I do have an at home Doppler, but I try not to use it when my husband and kids are home, as they know that mom is worried and then that makes them anxious.
Anyone else experiencing the same? I have my anatomy scan on Wednesday at 19+5. Hoping I get that consistent and strong movement back before then. Actually asap, because I’m spiraling 😅
