Need help Concrete on Driveway
My driveway and walkway experienced surface flaking due to salt damage last year. The flaking wasn’t causing any real structural issues, cracks, or large holes so I hired a contractor to fix the issue. Once he fixed the flaking, he sealed the driveway and walkway with a colored sealant (there was a huge argument about why he sealed it with a colored sealant when I never agreed to it). I live in an HOA so that’s automatically a no-no. After much back and forth, we had the colored sealant removed with diamond cutters. This removed the paint but now my driveway and walkway look horrible. I know I’ll have to have them resurfaced, but once this is done, my driveway will have a completely different color than all of the other driveways in the subdivision. I’m not naive enough to think that there is a way to match the 3 year old concrete exactly but I at least want the new resurfaced driveway to not stand out so much. Thought? Options?
I’ve provided some pictures, the last picture is my neighbor’s driveway (which seems to have a tanish tint to it).
