Does anyone have any experience with the Leepgroup? Not sure if a scam or not?
I applied to a job through indeed which was advertised as:
"Smart Systems & Cyber Security Technician – £26,000 pa
One of our clients are currently seeking an individual to help assist with their IT, smart technologies, and secure network systems.
The role will provide a hands-on opportunity to work with enterprise technology, engage with key stakeholders within the company, and develop new digital and technical skills. Ideal for a first-time role or career change."
I've worked in hospitality all my life and I am currently looking to try something new and this seemed perfect.
Now what's weird is I've been contacted by this Leepgroup in regards to this job, thanking me for applying to their fully government funded boot camp, which is 8 weeks long, running from Mon-Thurs 9-4. They've also sent me a questionnaire to fill out asking all sort of questions about how am I going to financially sustain myself during the boot camp?
I'm just a bit confused and can't find much online apart from weirdly positive reviews. I'm all up for free training in a new skill, but I thought I was applying for a job so I'm a bit suspicious about this all.
I've never been in any other job market apart from hospitality so I'm not sure if this is the norm!
Hope some of you can help!
