Keeping things simple.
Hi Beautifuls! (Mods this is more OF then webcam even though I mention camming, please feel free to delete if it isn't appropriate!) My theme for this year is keeping things simple.. I've been struggling on juggling camming where I make the most vs. my OF and clip sites and I've always been terrible on social media and promotion.
IG has banned me and keeps banning me whenever I open an account (I might try tiktok) but also energy wise I don't have it in me to put myself in a thousand of places for promotion. Especially after camming because it takes so much energy but at the same time I would loooove a job where it's passive income (which OF isn't truly passive but it's more passive than camming).
So it's been hard but I think I've reached a decision (and feel free to tell me not to jump off the boat) lol. Right now for promo I've been posting on youtube and porn hub (trying to just do a few things well) and I have a twitter but that's not really for growth but to have a place for my camming clients to find me in case I get banned from a camming platform.
I've been running my basic OF page $9.99 like a lot of people do but then I also have a premier OF page at $33. I'm looking at the work that I'm getting in vs. the return and even though I've had it for 2 years I think I might shut down my $9.99 page. The other one takes waaayy less energy to run. It's simple. The guys seem happy. I'm going to track my sales on the other page but they've been dismal (the $33 one is no-ppv, 4 videos a month. renews get a free additional video each month and pictures are posted to the wall).
I have an a la carte page like everyone does for my $9.99 page but I'm thinking of seeing if there is a way to turn my $9.99 into it instead. It's hard letting something go when it does bring in some money but I'm not sure it's enough money to be worth the effort of everything that I'm doing to keep it running. At the same time though I feel silly trying to grow my sfw stuff which so far doesn't pay a dime while my smaller OF page does bring in something. And then there's the branding thing, i'm careful to not share my name here because I don't want it to come off as marketing but both my webcam name and my $9.99 page name are the same name - I chose a sfw name that clearly can be sexual if you read the meaning behind it. So this way it makes it easier to find me. While my primer OF page is under a completely different name altogether but the name is so good it sells itself.
I was thinking a little bit of setting up a pantyhose pateron but I'm already overstretched and cutting back so I'm not sure lol.
I guess I don't have a specific question and just rambling however does anyone have any thoughts on this and if this sounds like a run for the mountains scenario or does it sound like a good idea?
Right now we are heading into a recission so cutting any income makes me worried but at the same time my personal theme in life is to keep things simple so I can execute it easily and actually live life. It might sound crazy to charge more instead of less especially right now in terms of keeping the higher page and letting go of the other one but the more time I spent on SM the more I realize that if something is good enough or if the person really wants something they'll buy it.
