A condensed summery of what trump said at the corespondents dinner from Washington post, for anyone who doesn’t have the stomach to watch his speech

“In a nearly two hours long, largely incoherent tangent, he told a sex joke and several fat jokes. He called Sen. Adam Schiff (D-California) “Watermelon head.” He went on long verbally stunted ramblings about subjects ranging from the Fourth of July fireworks to Bruce Springsteen to his forthcoming ballroom. Joking about a third and even fourth term, he trotted out his often repeated lines about how America used to be a “dead country” and is now the “hottest country anywhere in the world.” He told CNN’s Kaitlan Collins that she didn’t deserve the award she had won that night, before calling her a “young, attractive woman” who “never smiles.” He inexplicably brought back some vintage first term insults about Chris Christie and Sen. I updated my iPhone 15 to iOS 27 beta and it’s seriously wonderful. The improvements are nuanced, they’re prominent and significant.
The biggest one for me is thermal management. My iPhone doesn’t get anywhere close to as warm as it always did before under the exact same conditions. I downloaded a 10gb playlist off Apple Music with a GB internet connection, the thing barely even warmed up. This is also a perfect time for a segue into the next biggest improvement, battery. Downloading that playlist cost me one percent battery health. 10gb of AAC audio files, 1 battery percentage. I’m not exaggerating when I tell you I’m charging my phone about half as often as I did before with a cell at %82 capacity and when I do charge it the phone stays cool. I even gamed while charging and it didn’t get warm to the touch. The one other big thing of note, they got rid of the moving shimmery annoying ring around the app icons, so it’s not annoying just to look at your Home Screen again. BE EXCITED.
