Joint Consultation Agreed for late September. Grateful for your thoughts/opinions (NI)?

In a nutshell: -

2 Grievances (with contemporaneous evidence of gross misconduct and religious discrimination) lodged with former employer (Gov Dept) in June 25 - Both fully upheld

Instructed solicitor who sent a PAPL

Submitted another grievance against HR for handling of grievances - Partially upheld (several procedural shirtcomings admitted to)

ET1 lodged in Feb 26

Defensive response to PAPL received in early June 25 but acknowledges upheld grievances

Psychiatric Report received in mid-July stating causation and further treatment required.

JC agreed between both legal teams for late Sept

This his been and continues to be a long and stressful process. I have felt let down by my employer and HR. I get a feeling their hope was that my initial grievances would be dealt with quietly, I move on and everything is firgotten about, but they should not be allowed to get away with that. My grievances contain contemporaneous evidence that could/should embarrass my former employer, especially if they were to become public.

What could/should I expect from this JC? Is this the norm during litigation? How likely will a settlement be reached at this point? The stress of all of this, from even before I submitted my grievances, is having a hugely negative effect on me. TIA for any comments.

"Negotiations" - How to interpret these.

In brief, my employer (Public body) and their legal team, with senior counsel, has agreed to meet and negotiate with my legal team in late September. My case involves upheld grievances, a damaging psych report, potential serious reputational damage for employer and HR failings in handling of grievances. Are they attending these negotiations to seek a settlement or are they ticking a box for ET?

Employment Tribunal - Large public body NI

What can I take from the fact that, almost immediately after filing fully defensive ET3, my employer (whom I have worked for for over 17 yeats)and their legal team agreed to negotiate with my legal team? Case includes upheld grievances, contemporaneous evidence, potential for serious reputational damage for employer and HR failures in handling grievances and a psuchiatric report confirming issues caused by all of this. The whole process, from start to present, has been absolute hell for me (mentally and physically) and my family. An experience I never thought I would be involved in and would never want to be involved in again.
