Hi everyone,

I am coming on a secondment to Aus from Jan to Mar 2027 as an auditor. It will be a subclass 400 Visa.

The firm is providing support with the application process, and they also pay for the flights, accommodation, monthly salary and also a daily per diem. Thus, full support from them.

My problem is regarding bank statements. My car broke down 4 months ago, and I had to take out some short term loans in order to fix it. I am busy paying it off and all will be paid off by end of October - this results in a VERY low running balance on my account for the last 3 months.

Will this count against me from a application lerspective even though the company pays for everything that side and flights?

Where is the best place to stay of this is my situation:
My office is in Waterfall Midrand where I work about 40% of my time
My clients will be anywhere (mostly, sandton, melrose and sometimes away) where I will work 60% of the time
My fiance works close to Clearwater mall.

I want to stay in a safe place or estate etc
I have max 10k a month for a decent 2 bedroom apartment or townhouse (preferably modern)

What would you suggest is the best area that would be the most beneficial and save us the most amount of time and petrol.
