My dad originally filed the case as a criminal complaint with the dubai police. After their investigation, it was referred to the Public Prosecution, who formally charged five individuals with fraud and money laundering (concealing illegitimate funds)

The case was then moved to the Fifth Misdemeanor Circuit, and as of today, April 27, 2026, a verdict has been officially issued. We are now trying to navigate the shift from this criminal conviction to actual financial recovery, as the amount stolen exceeds $200,000+ USD.
