Most of us using AI alot, mostly for work and productivity. But have you noticed that we sttarted to outsource some of very easy tasks to AI that we used to do easily on day to day basis. I mean grocerry lists, simple work messages, thinking out loud (actually, very destructive for me), searching for some topics without thinking about them myself first and others.

It feels like my ability to think on these tasks also decreased. Like those articles from uni's saying that your ability to write decreases by some percent, if you use ai constantly. For now it is just text bot, what if I outsource more complex tasks that I used to do myself. What is left?

In this chase for productivity, have you noticed, that you have degradated, or it's just me?

I recently noticed myself outsourcing so many thought processes to AI, it's just ridiculous. I caught myself asking AI to edit a message to a family member literally because I was no more confident that I could structure my thoughts in a way people would understand me correctly.
It is just basic stuff like answearing to a coworker with a thank you email. I mean, I can write it myself, so why do I ask AI to do it?

I'm afraid of what my thinking will look like if I keep outsourcing it. The dependency is quiet, and it builds fast.

How do I preserve my natural ability to think in a creative way in the age of AI?
Please, don't answer, just don't use AI. I will because in our day and age, it is necessary.
Does anyone have a similar issue?

I recently caught myself asking AI to edit a message to a family member. Not a business email. Not a legal document. A personal message — because I was no longer confident I could structure my thoughts in a way people would understand.

That scared me.

It's basic stuff. A thank-you to a coworker. A reply to a friend. Things I've done my whole life without thinking. And now I second-guess myself before I even start typing.

I'm not afraid of AI getting expensive. I'm afraid of what my thinking will look like if I keep outsourcing it. The dependency is quiet and it builds fast.

Does anyone else feel this? And honestly — when was the last time you had a thought you didn't immediately want to run through AI first?
