A few months ago, I found two old recordings of my grandmother performing some songs. These recordings, along with being poor quality to begin with, have a speed issue that causes both songs to be somewhere in between D major and Eb major.

Before I do any more work on either of these songs, I want to figure out what key they were originally recorded in. The only lead I have so far is that Eb major appears to be more common key for these old songs, but I don't think that entirely rules out D major as a possibility.

I am totally aware that this post is very likely an unusual one for this subreddit, and may not even be what it's for. If it violates any guidelines, then I would completely understand if it needs to be taken down.

For years, I have listened to the 1983 remixes of *Cold Spring Harbor* and wondered why the speeds of the tracks were so inconsistent. Songs like "Got to Begin Again" and "Tomorrow Is Today" would be nearly at the same speed as their original 1971 versions, while other tracks like "She's Got a Way" and "Everybody Loves You Now" would be miles off from their original pitch. So, I have finally decided to do something about it and worked on correcting the speeds of the remixes. All songs now appear in their original keys and are much more accurate to the original speed they were recorded at. Enjoy!
