Grok reduced the moderation a couple of days back, reduce the rate limits (67%) then increased the moderation again now.
I'm a SuperGrok user. This Tuesday, I found grok to generate certain NSFW content (li**ing/su**ing) in both 480p and 720p... which usually isn't the case for the last few months. I was wondering how and why.
And the surprise came...
get grok heavy at 67% off for the first 3 months.
I'm sure a lot of people subscribed to it as they hit the rate limits. (Again this was well planned and executed)
However I didn't upgrade cuz I was pretty sure there's some gimmicks and thanks to a lot of redditers posting not to subscribe.
24hrs later I was able to generate a 480p 6s video. and it's gets moderated. same prompt used 2 days back gets moderated.
So, simple. their goal is to get people to spend more. reduce moderation, get them needy, throw a discount at them, then see an uptick in revenue, increase moderation again.
