BIOL 191A FINAL EXAM

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to seriously lock in for my final exam next week and I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed, so I’m hoping for any advice or resources anyone might have. I need at least a 90% in order to pass the class.

My situation right now is:
- I have an A in lab
- I average around 90% on assignments, quizzes, etc.
- But my exam scores have been much lower than expected (around 60%) which brings my whole grade down by a lot.

I feel like I understand the material, but something about applying it during the exams themselves is where I’m struggling.

At this point, I’m trying to go back over the entire semester in under a week, and I was wondering if anyone has advice on:
- what to prioritize when reviewing a whole semester’s content
- any notes, websites, practice exams, or study guides for Dr. Choate’s class
- study strategies that actually help with exam performance
- anything that helped you improve exam scores quickly in a short time

I’d really appreciate any help at all. I’m not looking for shortcuts, just trying to figure out how to study more effectively in a short amount of time.

Thank you in advance to anyone who takes the time to respond 🙏🙏

(Also does anyone know if I don’t pass lecture, do I need to take both biol191A and biol191L again since they are corequisites?)
