I'm new to the pixel coming from a long time with apple. i have the entire ecosystem macbook, ipad, watch ect... im a bit old school and simply transfer my photos via wire to a photo manager on my computer. how do pixel people do this seems like everything is CLOUD CLOUD CLOUD... is there no way to simply have an app that manages and transfers photos and folders? the google chat specialist told me the only way is cloud. i downloaded the google photos app on my computer and theres no file directory only CLOUD CLOUD CLOUD pay for storage give me more subscription BS.

i just want to transfer photos from my computer to my pixel and back but it seems like that cant be done with a single program.
