Tell me what is everyone’s thoughts about using a birdcage for an adult chameleon? I would probably put plexiglass on the back and possibly one side on the outside of the cage, just to trap some humidity.

I have 2 tanks. I have a 37 gallon community tank and a 5 gal betta tank. Both tanks have way too many snails. I am assuming they are hitch hikers and have made babies. I am assuming they will keep breeding. How can I stop this? What do you all do to minimize a whole tank takeover? How do I trap them? And what do you all do with them? I’m not flushing them. I will post more photos in the comments.
