Just laying here thinking about how my ancestors were polygamists… and how it’s affected me and I am now so curious and wish I had access to this information on the witch trials.
Everything I’m seeing with the Mormon Stories lawsuit is just making me super uncomfortable and feel a sense of existential dread. I have to articulate this and I can’t in my own home- thanks for reading. What’s to keep the church from using its funds to come after other people using their own brains to call out corruption? I really hope there are laws made because of this that prevent big money religions from doing whatever the *heck* they please with their money to keep group think and fear of questioning leadership the only option. Isn’t this what the Bible warns about when it talks about being wary of the men in long robes? How do they not see this?
