My neighbor knocked on my (open) door today to compliment my white peonies and ask what they were. She then asked if I’d be willing to divide them when they finished blooming and share with her. It took a LOT of explaining to get her to understand they don’t work like hostas or pothos!

7A. Planted seven peonies over the past three years. This one is the early bloomer, thank goodness, as I ignorantly planted an artichoke that gets 7’+ nearby. First blooms of the spring!
