On top of the world. Just me, a single-cylinder motorcycle, and the silence of the Himalayas. You forget all the soreness and the dust when Ladakh finally opens up like this.
Took this photo looking down from Taglang La, sitting at about 17,500 feet. The oxygen is thin up here, but the air is incredibly crisp. After crossing hundreds of kilometers of barren passes and navigating washed-out roads, standing here looking at that valley is pure peace.
