Things to do on a Rainy day

Hey everyone, just arrived in Barcelona today and tomorrow's (Saturday) forecast looks really bad. I had planned for a beach day but with rain it looks highly impossible.

I was exploring day trip options, for eg Girona and Costa Brava.

Can anyone suggest what would be the day trip options and which beach in Costa Brava is easily accessible by public transport.

Hi everyone,

I’m planning to catch a bus from Nice Airport Terminal 1 at 1:20 AM on a Wednesday (13th May) night. I'll be coming from the Henri Sappia (06100) area.

I’m trying to figure out the most reliable way to get there that late:

Trams: Does Line 1 still run late enough to catch a connection, or do the night buses (Noctambus) actually make it to the airport terminal in time?

Safety/Timing: How much time should I realistically buffer to make sure I don't miss the 1:20 AM bus?

If anyone has experience with late-night transit in Nice or has made this specific trip recently, I’d love your advice!

Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone,

I’m planning part of my Italy trip and wanted some advice.

Current plan:

Day 1 - 14 May: Overnight bus from Nice to Milan → train from Milan to Tirano → stay overnight in Tirano

Day 2 - 15 May: Take the local train to St. Moritz and return to Tirano → stay again

Day 3 - 16 May: Tirano → Milan → Rome

I’m wondering if staying in Tirano is actually worth it, or if it would be better to base myself in Milan and just do Tirano + St. Moritz as a day trip.

Also, would Tirano → Milan → Rome take up most (or all) of the day in terms of travel time?

Is the overnight stay in Tirano a better experience (less rushed, more scenic), or is a day trip from Milan sufficient?

Would really appreciate suggestions, especially from anyone who’s done this route.

Thanks!
