Last week I picked up a new Nitro ANV15-52 for $750, but I'm questioning if I want to keep it. My primary laptop was an old G5, so it's defiantly an upgrade. One reason I picked this up was that it could use my existing DDR4 memory (I had a plethora of 16GB DDR4 modules, so figured I'd make use of them), and I was hoping it would have 2 NVMe slots (to use my existing 2 1TB NVMe SSDs in)... but it has the enlarged battery, so only 1 NVMe slot.
If I keep it, I know I'm going to have to shell out for a 2 TB NVMe drive before end of summer (even 2 TB is pushing it on my storage requirements, but I can work with it). Which pushes the cost of the laptop into a the realm of being closer to buying something "better" (maybe even something that won't drain the battery while plugged in just because I'm trying to use all of the laptop).
So, I'm wondering... is this model worth keeping?
