Lenovo refund issue. The 4th month of waiting has started.
I ordered an HDMI hub from Lenovo in February, then I realized that I had ordered the wrong one. I returned it within a couple of days. I have all the proof, photos, etc. Then I checked the website, and it said that they had received it. I was expecting a refund soon.
In March, I still hadn’t received the refund. I decided to contact customer support, where I was told that I would be refunded soon, that it was just an issue on their side, and that they had successfully received the HDMI hub back. I thought, finally. But even after this conversation, 3 weeks passed and there was still no refund.
I decided to write to customer service again (I have screenshots). The guy was swearing that I would get the refund the following week. Of course, neither the following week nor even 2 weeks later did I get a refund. It was already the end of April.
I decided to call them 2 weeks ago. Again, the person promised me that I would get a refund quickly. Still, I did not receive any refund.
Guys, please be careful with Lenovo. Their products are not bad, but if you ever need to return something, be prepared for it to become a lottery, and you may never get your money back.
Also, thank you Lenovo for hiring personnel who barely speak English and serve Canadian customers incompetently. Great work OUTSOURCING customer support so aggressively that resolving a simple refund now takes several months.
