


Is the gap between the monitor screen and the casing normal?
Idk if I should be worried about this. I want to be able to use this monitor for a long time. I also don't know if I'll be able to return the product.

My return and refund request was cancelled twice by shopee.

I ordered a monitor last 5.5 sale on shopee worth 12k+. (paid through SPayLater). Cancelled it but the seller still ships the product despite the cancellation request.
I messaged the seller once I saw the order status. I informed them that the product was supposed to be cancelled and that I will refuse to receive the item so it will be returned back to them for refund). The seller replied and apologised that they weren't able to accept cancellations request on the day since they were busy.

The product arrived way ahead than the expected delivery time which is on May 10, 2026 last time I checked. I wasn't able to properly inform my family regarding the situation as I wasn't expecting it to arrived so fast. In the end, the item was accepted.
I immediately messaged the seller once I found out and told them that I will file for a return and refund request instead.
Only three option was available for me:
1.Received Damaged Item
2.Received Incorrect Item
3.Did not receive some/all of the item
None of it was applicable in my case so I picked #2 and just explained what happened in the comment.
I submitted pictures of the unopened product as evidence. Additionally, I also send screenshots of the conversation with the seller on the" discussion with the agent" tab.

Seller replied and told me that the case just needed to be validated by Shopee and that their technical team will inspect the item once it arrives in their store.

The refund was cancelled by shopee under the reason :
"The returned item must be in its original condition and fall within the eligible categories"
I called cs and they told me to file the request again and advised me to include the screenshots of the conversation with the seller as evidence that the seller is in agreement with the return and refund request.
I did what was told and refiled for return and refund request again.
I called cs again for follow up questions. They help me file an escalation.

The request was cancelled by Shopee for the second time for the same reason.
I called cs again. They reviewed my case and told me that the team never got back/replied to their escalation. They also told me they will raise an escalation again and that they will be the one to refile the return and refund request on my behalf this time so the system "will not automatically cancel the request". When I asked when should I expect the case to be refilled again , they told me that it should be within 48 hrs. I told them that I will call again once it exceeds the timeframe.
Sorry for my English. I'm not proficient in this language.
I'm wondering if I should file a complaint to DTI regarding this or wait till they refile the return and refund request again.
If anyone experienced the same scenario as mine. Please give me some advice on what to do.
