Here's the situation: My Ex broke up with me almost two weeks ago. We kind of broke up a few weeks before that. After a few days we started talking again - mostly because he reached out. Things were going well after that, so the breakup totally caught me off guard. As hard as it is, I accept it and I honestly wish him all the best. Since then, we've barely had any contact. Now he's messaged me again, saying we can talk if there's still stuff I want to clear up.

Is that just an excuse to stay in touch or does he just want to feel less guilty (though he said he is fine the last time I saw him an that he can move on fairly easily)? Any advice?
