I thought long about something.
I spend a lot of time online, chronically, for years I've seen articles ranging from women hating on men, men hating on women, politics, science, psychology, videogames, dating, child raising, school, book banning work place related things. I've been insulted, I've been told I speak elegantly, I've heard the phrase "no one is reading that" more times than I can count.
Something I think no one sees anymore and I think it should be obvious but isn't is people don't have a tolerance for anything anymore. I thought long and hard about the dunning-kruegar effect... How it infects everything even the smartest of individuals some of which are the worst offenders and I think it comes down to tolerance. People are exposed to things all the times in our daily lives but how many people can say we are tolerant anymore. When it comes down to it tolerance is a major component in how we learn. I think that explains a lot as to why I hate tribalism... I think tribalism is inhertlitly the thing that holds all people back. It makes plenty of people feel good but it also releases the endorphins for anger.
I'm becoming jaded, because I'm alone, not angry, not bitter, just... Numb. For years my brain was in a fog I couldn't escape from, pain no one could really help me get out of and with the more knowledge I accumulate the more I just think... All the stuff I see is just dumb. No one is actually focusing on what is important, just distracting themselves or going crazy in the process.
