I have 3 cats, a broken window (there’s plans to replace it), and a hot room. I have had the cats escape twice through the window. (shame on me for thinking that the fix would be secure. I know) luckily it was wet outside both times and they didn’t stray far, but im sure that they will run farther on a dryer morning.
One of the cats is scared of the outdoors, so im not too worried about her right now but I would like to be safe. I have a former barn cat who i think is okay with being outside as long as its dry, and I have an adventurous little guy who loves to explore.
I don’t want to have to charge it. I want to put batteries in it and not have to worry about its charge. I want there to be an option to set a boundary and I get pinged when they cross it. Its only going to be used as a last resort.
They are only allowed outside if they are harnessed, on a leash, and i am holding the leash. They never will be allowed outside unsupervised. I know how dangerous my area is.
