Override for clearance item
I (employee) bought the Truly Coco Cloud Shave kit in-store. On the shelf, there was an orange clearance tag reducing the price from 110, to 55. "Score!" I thought. I even called one of my managers over to have her verify that that was the correct item, and to talk about how good of a deal that was. I was rung up, I used some points, and didn't notice until I got home I was charged full price. I spoke with my general manager about it this morning and she said she can't do overrides for employees, even though it's our fault. And I somewhat understand why, but in this case and given the circumstances, I wouldn't have purchased it had I known it was not on sale. Anybody have any advice? Returning it seems like my only option but what a pain in the ass. Ridiculous, please help 🥹
