Pentagram issues?

Not sure if it’s just me, but when I play Pentagram, I don’t notice the additional shield triggering the next time the card is drawn.

Unless I’m not reading the text correctly, is this happening to anyone else?

What’s with the constant doom and gloom on game longevity?

This isn’t to bash anyone’s opinions, especially for long time TCG players / collectors. They could be right for all I know.

I see constant comments on posts with people speculating the game has maybe another year or few before it all goes under. Is it just me or am I just not seeing that (or being hopeful?)

For me and my area at least, stores are consistently quickly selling out of product (troves and boxes), and have attendance for set champs / pre-release events and weeklies.

Gameplay is easy enough for most to pick up, yet can be complex enough for serious competitors.

Prices for hard to find, higher end cards remain consistently high and sought after online in places such as TCG player. With Pixar being introduced and a slew of other IP’s soon being brought in, excitement seems to be high for what’s to come. If Disney provided a little more of their own promotion, park presence and such, popularity could rise even more.

According to Ravensburger, there’s still a ton of focus on the product and is reported to still be profitable. National championship games sell out in a heartbeat.

For the sake of post length, amongst other things, why do a good amount of folks feel the game doesn’t have the same longevity as ones such as Pokemon, MTG or Yu-Gi-Oh?

Not sure if anyone else has the same issue, but the Spin 1 or Spin 3 options on the wheel just don’t work for me.

Is this a known thing or is it just me?
