Went to my first concert over the weekend alone. I drove 7 hours for this band that I’ve loved for the past few years. (Added a few hours cause I got side tracked to look at a national park and museum)

The concert itself was amazing, but not being able to talk about the music or discuss really anything left me feeling cold. I did talk to a few people to try and gather a group to enjoy the music with, but none cared to continue a conversation past a basic greeting. I’ve never had a problem with going solo as I’ve done that my entire life, I quite enjoy my own company and deep ponderings lol. But it gets to a point where I feel like I’ve missed out on a crucial part of my teens and basically stunted my growth going into my 20s.

Is there any real way to meet people and find my tribe?

Or should I remain a proud outsider ?
