I’ve used a set of AirPods Max and AirPods Pro 2’s with my laptop for multiple years without series issues. Now, only today, restarting the system at all resets to using the AirPods mic every single time, which enshitifies the audio. So I turn it off for normal audio function. I open the only game I’m currently playing, Marathon, and as soon as the game fully loads, the audio starts skipping or not working altogether. So I go turn off hands free telephony because that did work in the past. Except now it bricks all the audio on my computer (to the point where YouTube in browser can tell and gives me an error) until I restart the machine, which sends me back through this endless loop where it RESETS ALL THOSE SETTINGS EVERY TIME THE COMPUTER RESTARTS.
I’m at a complete loss. That’s why I’m here. What in the actual hell do I even do now?
I fixed the issue before by just turning off hands free telephony and I could start and play the game with no issues and it would reset itself sometimes but I could just flip it off again. But it suddenly has decided today is the day to not work completely.
