First time applicant in the state of Georgia. Paid for it to be expedited. Also, had a recent name change and still didn’t have my hard copy ID in my new name.

4/13: Applied at County Clerk office. Only needed my birth certificate and she submitted my old ID with my previous name. (Name was already changed with SSA). I brought my marriage certificate, but she said it wasn’t needed.

4/22: Marked as in process

4/24: Shipped (sometime after 9 PM!)

4/25: Got the notification through USPS informed delivery

4/29: Received!

Total number of days: 16!!

Still waiting on birth certificate but will try to update when I receive it.
