Manual swap clutch pedal top bracket update

Manual swap clutch pedal top bracket update

so the top clutch mount bracket is removable with drilling out the 4 spot welds. I did a bad job, but if you take your time you could do it much cleaner. anyways my plan is to put in the clutch pedal to locate where it should go and then tack weld it into place. and for anyone reading this is for manual swapping an automatic because there isn’t a bracket on the top otherwise your pedal is only mounted to the master cylinder which seems sketchy to me.

Clutch pedal install question

for any of you that have manual swapped, what did you do about the top bolt that holds the clutch pedal?

im looking at trying to cut the bracket out of the manual car and re weld it into position on mine but that seems like an excessive amount of work. I’ve heard if you drill a hole there it leaks water into the vehicle so I’m looking for advice

so far this is what I’ve pulled. I was not mentally prepared for the work involved to get the wiring harnesses out my god.

working on a manual swap and I looked at the Oem clutch line and not only does it look difficult to pull, it looks kinda messed up with how it has all the turns in it and the section of rubber line. I also saw some videos that said it’s hard to bleed.

i wanted to do a full braided stainless and most of what I see out there is for k swaps. I found jackspannia racing has one for the em2. would that be the way to go or what have you guys recommend?

i can’t find much info out there on the subject that isn’t k swapping.
