2 casual jobs what do
hi guys. im an international student. visa subclass 500. i have a question about which job to claim tax free threshold.
ive been working a casual job (retail) for the past year and ive decided to get another job. i got another casual job (retail again) but i dont rlly wanna quit my previous job. ive given one employer 2 days (older job) availability and the other employer 5 days (nee job) availability.
i looked online and it said if i have 2 casual jobs i can claim tax free threshold for the higher paying one. does that mean i should claim tax free threshold for the job paying higher hourly rate or the job where i will be working more hours? and since its casual i cant really determine which job will be giving me more hours, casual hours just depend on the employer.
currently, for the job where i work 2 days a week i have claimed tax free threshold. the other one i just got hired today so i havent provided all my info just yet.
