I'm in a band and figured a good way to make friends with other bands is to take pictures of their gigs, as there's rarely any photographers in smaller venues. This sparked an interest, and I now genuinely want to become better at it. The pictures are from my second show with the camera, after learning a lot of tips and tricks on this forum. My questions now are:
- I love haze, as the lights always look so much better with it. Trouble is, the haze gets in the way of the artist, and they end up looking flat and pale. How do you combat this? Editing? How?
- How do you capture the energy of a performance? The pictures are from a pretty energetic night, but I feel the pics don't reflect that.
Super weird niche tricks are very welcome. •
