3-4 nights near Buenos Aires

I’m going to Antarctica next year and I’ll be spending 3 nights in February beforehand with the tour group in Buenos Aires. I have an extra 3-4 nights to work with. Do you have any favorite weekend trips, day trips or hotels in or within a few hours of Buenos Aires? Nature, food and safety are my biggest priorities. This trip is already pretty expensive so not looking for anything else that’s crazy expensive.

I have never been to Buenos Aires or Argentina. I’m going with my mom and she hasn’t been there in 40 years.

Thanks for any ideas you can give!

Advice: Need 2 new cards I can apply for close together? Chase Sapphire Reserve and Citi Strata?

I have some major once in a lifetime kind of travel expenses coming up (and I’ll be paying for my travel partner too and getting reimbursed by them after, so the signup bonus opportunity is high).

I assume I can get away with like 2 signup bonuses within a few months? Probably not 3, right?

I need advice.

I haven’t opened a card in 18 months. I‘ve opened 3 in the last ~5 years. The other 2 were about 3 to 3.5 years back. Was thinking Chase Sapphire Reserve and then something else with a lower fee like Citi Strata?

I also have an offer to upgrade my Amex Gold to the Reserve for 65k points so I could do that in addition or instead of getting an extra one.

Most of my hotel expenses for this year will be non-chains.

I’ll probably fly Delta for one international and some combo of AirFrance/KLM for the other but it doesn’t seem like using delta points will be that useful. My domestic flights will probably be JetBlue and American but I don’t think having those cards is really worth it.

I currently have Capital One Venture X, Chase pSapphire Preferred, Southwest Plus, and IHG Premier, and a Delta Gold.

I got Capital One Venture a few years ago and downgraded it. I had Amex Plat years ago. I had the Barclays American Airlines card in the past too.
