Lumbar spine disc collapse

This mri is 1.5 yrs post md … still not living a normal life. The 3rd slide is pre MD. Getting MRI with contrast in a couple days and meeting with surgeon. No idea what they will suggest hoping not fusion any ideas ?

Should I freeze my eggs

  1. Got eggs checked. Plenty of em. No boyfriend or even any prospects. Kind of accepted being single may be my lot. Also have to have back surgery soon. Self sufficient and considering just doing iui and becoming smbc. Or adopting. Have folicles and am sensitive to hormone fluctuation. Don’t want to freeze eggs also because of added psychological and physical pressure. But am I just being silly and I should don’t stop believing? I’m physically not even attracted to people anymore I think I’ve gotten the permanent ick for relationships but genuinely well equipped to be a good mom and desire to become one for sure.

Md didn’t help enough

I had a l4 l5 left side Microdiscectamy in Feb 2025. It helped immensely but never fully recovered, continued having spasms which worsened to the point it’s basically as bad as it was. Had to take steroids every couple months. This is my most recent mri but I’m getting one with contrast Tuesday to see what the plan is. I’m in constant pain. The other mri in last slide is before my surgery. MRI report this time says it’s worse since the one post surgery (not pictured.) so yeah this sucks. I don’t know what the course of action will be.
