This question is from out of the clouds but I remember a couple times last season Jared mentioned Josh Beckett being an asshole, it stuck out to me but I didn’t think too much of it. Then yesterday I was listening to an old random baseball is dead episode from 2022 where they mentioned Beckett and Jared again said “I do not like him”. I’ve been listening since 2019 and have gone back and listened to the majority of episodes before that but don’t know this backstory at all. Was this ever explained?

I was sitting halfway between third base and left field, front row, all the Sox starters minus Duran were warming up right in front of us. I gotta say Roman looked like he was in a great mood, Durbin as well, Monasterio didn’t seem too unhappy either. Hard to get a read on Mayer. Rafaela looked sad, and when Duran came out onto the field right when the game was about to start, he looked absolutely livid pretty much the entire day. Everyone else wasn’t really showing their emotions. Obviously have no idea what the mood was like behind closed doors and don’t want to make any assumptions, just thought I’d pass along what I saw.
