I get ignored when I reply to posts with questions or problems, or even when I just comment on different posts. The posts aren’t even big. I want to post too, but maybe I’m doing something wrong. Being ignored is confusing, so I don’t understand why it happens. How can I avoid being ignored?

I’m a young developer from Finland working on an idea for an assistive technology tool. I recently founded a small NYT company called Viovox, and before I start building anything, I want to understand whether this concept would actually be useful to real people.

The idea is simple:
A system that lets you control your phone using EEG signals (from a Muse headband) — things like intentional blinks, eye movements, or short focus patterns.
Nothing exists yet — I’m still in the research phase.

Before I invest months into development, I’d love to hear your honest thoughts:

• Would you personally use a hands‑free phone control system like this?
• Would it be useful for people with limited mobility or motor impairments?
• If it were completely free, would you try it?
• If it were paid, what would be a fair price (one‑time or subscription)?
• Would you recommend it to someone who needs hands‑free control?
• What features would matter the most?
• What problems should I focus on solving first?

I’m not selling anything — just trying to understand whether this idea has real value before I start building it.
