I’ve been talking to this girl online for about a month. Initially, everything was going great — we used to share reels, messages, and voice notes regularly. She seemed genuinely interested and engaged.
Recently, something happened at her home and she told me about it. Even after that incident, she continued talking normally with me for a few days — sending reels, messages, and voice notes like before.
But after that, things slowly started changing. She gradually stopped sending voice notes, reduced sending reels, and now mostly gives short, dry replies. She also takes hours to respond even when she’s online.
We had a voice call a few days ago for around 18 minutes, and she was mostly the one carrying the conversation. I tried to respond and share my side too, but I’m not very good at conversations since I’m introverted.
Now I’m really confused:
Is she just stressed because of her personal situation?
Or is she slowly losing interest in me?
Did my communication skills play a role in this change?
Should I try calling her and ask about it, or should I give her space and stop initiating for some time?
I’ve experienced something similar before, so I might be overthinking — but I don’t want to mess this up.”
