I'm currently helping my mother pack her boxes, as she's moving soon. While going through the boxes in the garage to sort out what to keep or throw away, a lovely surprise was waiting for me at the bottom of a very dusty box: my very first console!
You should know that I was born in Madagascar and moved to France in 2008 when I was only 8 years old. Before arriving in France, I had never heard of video games in my life. It was only upon my arrival that I discovered these technologies. This Game Boy had been given to me by my cousin as a welcome gift!
This was therefore my very first video game experience, the one that shaped my childhood in the world of gaming and especially Pokémon, as along with it I had received Pokémon Yellow, Red and Blue. To this day, I am still a huge Pokémon fan!
Unfortunately, I only found one game, which is Kirby. Given the prices of official cartridges nowadays, I think I will first go for CartMod ones in order to relive those memories.
