Silver Mounted Liquor Pourer or Decanter - Midwest USA
I bought this decanter or liquor pourer because I liked its unusual (to me) shape, and thought it would be fun to search for a replacement stopper for it. I don’t expect it to be worth much more than I paid for it ($3), but I’m curious about it’s origins and what company made it, to see if it’s possible to find a matching stopper in need of a mate.
It’s very heavy for its size, and it has a bright clarity leading me to think it’s crystal.
There is a logo on the collar next to a sterling silver mark, but I can’t for the life of me make out what it is!
My guess is that it’s an American made item that isn’t super precious, but I wonder if anyone can identify that logo mark, so I can learn more about it!
It was bought at a Salvation Army in Minnesota, so maybe something someone’s grandparents or great grandparents bought to add flair to a bar cart?
Thank you for your sharp eyes and curiosity!
