I have alot of confusion with where and how i should use sql in my data analyst projects.

I m a beginner and need explanation in simple terms. Do we do the cleaning and etl in the sql if yes how do we move the final transformed table to the powerbi for visualisations etc and do i find the kpis or other eda analysis in the sql or in the power query and powerbi .

I am so confused at what queries to write etc. If theres any completed documented projects anywhere from where i can learn the proper way of doing an advanced project then please do mention it. I feel so lost . I made end to end projects on excel so ik how to do things but idk how to do it thru sql and powerbi combined .
