My 2010 Prius with roughly 215,000 miles was low on gas this morning and shut down in the middle of the road. “Check hybrid system” appeared on the dash even after I had filled it with gas and tried starting it to no avail. Got my car working by unplugging the white cable to the fuse box under the hood and drove to auto zone to have the codes read and got multiple recommendations to replace 12v battery which I unfortunately I then had my dealership do immediately. Now that I have a new battery the triangle of death along with other warnings still pop up the dash for a second before disappearing but other than that my car seems to be working normal again. Thoughts?
