Apskatīju arī kucēnus no LKF audzētavas. Tur kucēni bija draudzīgi, labi socializēti un dzīvoja sakoptā vidē. Tomēr mani pārsteidza tas, ka vienu no kucēniem nosauca par “brāķi”, jo tas neatbilda izstāžu standartiem. Lai gan saprotu, ka audzētāji vērtē suņus pēc noteiktiem kritērijiem, šāds apzīmējums man izklausījās ļoti skarbs un atstāja diezgan dīvainu pēcgaršu.
Kopumā, meklējot kucēnu pēc tik ilga pārtraukuma, man radies iespaids, ka suņu pasaule ir kļuvusi ļoti komercializēta. No vienas puses ir cilvēki, kuri pavairo suņus tikai peļņas dēļ, bet no otras – audzētāji, kuri suņus vērtē pēc ļoti stingriem standartiem. Tas viss liek aizdomāties, cik grūti mūsdienās ir atrast vienkārši veselīgu, labi aprūpētu un mīlētu ģimenes suni.

Hi! I’m making this post because it’s exactly the kind of post I was searching for at the start of my second year. Maybe it will help someone who is having the same doubts and asking the same questions.
At the beginning of second year, I was convinced I was done. I wanted to quit. I genuinely believed medicine wasn’t for me and that I didn’t want to become a doctor anymore. Histology, Anatomy and Biochemistry were literally crushing me. My program is six years long, and I’m now almost finished with my second year (I still have two exams left), which means I have four more years to go.
Here’s the reality of studying medicine: it will cost you a lot. You may lose touch with parts of yourself, your hobbies, family, and the things that once made you feel balanced. Some days you’ll come home so mentally exhausted that all you can do is cry, scroll mindlessly through your phone, and go to bed. And honestly, that’s okay. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve left university at midnight this year.
But even when you feel like you don’t belong, when you’re not getting the highest grades, or when you’re questioning whether you’re good enough, remember that there is only one thing that truly matters: passing. There will always be professors who make exams incredibly difficult or seem determined to make students fail. That’s simply part of the process.
The strange thing is that, despite everything, I’ve learned to appreciate the struggle. If you’re drawn to medicine, you have to accept that suffering is often part of the journey. Before medical school, I didn’t have anxiety. Recently, I was diagnosed with it. That’s one of the prices I’ve paid for this dream.
What I really want to say is that those aesthetic TikToks and “day in the life” videos don’t show the full picture. They make the hardship look beautiful and manageable, but they rarely show the exhaustion, self-doubt, and sacrifices that come with it.
If you’re feeling like you’re done and ready to quit, try to finish the year first. Give yourself the chance to see it through. You might be surprised by how much your perspective can change. And once you are closer to the finish line you are glad you didn’t quit.

Yes I cap the tips and the sides. So I have no clue why the thermals are the ones that chip, regular specialty finishes last well and don’t have major chips. Have you experienced something similar and how did you fix it?

Hi! I ordered mooncat on the 22nd at the start of the sale, however customs are reluctant to release the package because the values don’t match and I have no clue why not. Also on the invoice mooncat has listed a difrrent company name, but my credit card statement says mooncat and I have no clue what to do. I have never had this problem with Holo Taco and I have ordered multiple times. I’m from Latvia if that helps
Honestly this collection doesn’t really match the theme and the colors don’t feel that unique or bright. I feel like the teal in this collection feels very meh, only because there was a teal in the royalty collection, and teal teal teal feels too much. The only one I’ll pick up is acid drip. I have missed shift and my sister got recently the price is alexandrite and honestly it’s pretty much the same polish. Except one has additional shimmer. Es jau ļoti sen esmu gribējusi apmeklēt car meets, bet man nav draugu, kas ir tendēti uz auto. Man ir 20 gadi un esmu meitene, bet uz uzaugu ļoti auto tendētā ģimenē ( bet esam jaunajā paaudzē tikai meitenes). Man ir draudzenes, bet viņām nav izteiktas intereses. I did my research before I bought my polishes and honestly a few of them look nothing like website photos or swatches I watched on YT. My alien infatuation is basically only grey and has very little green shimmer with super bright flash. Also pop rocker is not bumble gum at all but more of a washed out raspberry. I feel pretty bummed because I was super excited. Am I the only one who is having such thoughts about my polishes? Also phantom call is super purple I expected more of the bronze color because a lot of people were saying that its more that color then purple, but it’s essentially just purple. Now electric sweetener genuinely is like the swatches and website pics, bright and punchy. So toxic also is perfect, but those 3 polishes leave more to be desired.
