I am a Grade 12 student and I managed to pass both ust and dlsmhsi for the course of BS Occupational Therapy! But I'm conflicted on which one to choose because even if DLSMHSI is closer to home (I live in dasma, cavite), UST feels like suuuch a big opportunity to pass by. I was really settled on dlsmhsi bc I didn't think I'd pass ustet yet triny ko lang siya as a safety school option kaya nde ko tlg inexpect na ganto ung magiging results ko. And since I lived most of my life abroad, I'm mainly worried na I'll have a hard time adjusting sa pinas, especially in manila where I have no relatives there to show me the ropes so I basically have to navigate and learn everything on my own, unlike sa cavite where my family lives since malapit nmn schools nila dun. Besides that, I've also been hearing na maraming ganap sa UST and a lot of my peers dream to get admitted there. I'm also wondering on how these two differ in terms of:

  1. Quality of Education

  2. Student life

  3. Campus

So would you recommend choosing DLSMHSI for the convenience and familiarity, or take the leap and go for ust despite being in an unfamiliar environment?

pls help 🙏
